Minutes of the Fremont County R/C Flying Club – Jan 3, 2013
President Ed Vincent called the meeting to order at the Fremont airport Annex Building #2 at 7:08 PM. Twelve members attended the meeting. Dennis Sporing won the 50/50 drawing of $9.00.
Our new VP Dave Green reported on his brief hospital stay. The secretary will update the club roster to add his new phone number. He is back.
Minutes from the December meeting were approved.
Treasurer’s Report Jan 3, 2014:
Checking & cash balance from Dec meeting = $381.40
Income:
$7.50 50/50 drawing
$465.00 memberships (11 regular & 1 associate)
Total Income = $472.50
Outlays:
$2.00 Plaque engraving
Total Outlays = $2.00
Ending balance = $851.90 ($16.28 cash + $835.62 checking)
$900.75 savings
The Treasurer’s Report was approved.
Old Business:
New Position – There was a long discussion on the previously mentioned position of club historian. Ed expressed that all the club historical records resides with Sonny and if anything should happened to Sonny, the club might have a problem recovering the records.
Aviation Books for Club – Steve Stafford has a container to store the books but it flew out of his truck. He will look for it on the drive home.

It was agreed to “pass the hat” at all our events to collect money for local charities. We voted to donate to the Boys & Girls Club and Sangre de Cristo Hospice. The club will match the collected funds.
New Combination - With the New Year, Mark Sullivan will change the combinations to all our locks at the field. Members who have paid their 2014 club dues will be given the new combination. If your 2014 dues have been paid and you don’t have the new combination contact Marlowe at 372-7192.
