Old Business:

Club History Project - Continues on schedule for the end of the year.

Flight Stand Covers – Someone mentioned that Mike Ciganek had a friend with a powered posthole digger. We need to check into this.

Florence Pioneer Days – Sonny will be submitting the application to Florence for the Sept. 21st parade. Marlowe pointed out if we are not ready for Pioneer Days we can participate in the Penrose Apple Days on Oct 5th.

Hammer Bellino & Bill Worthen, Sr. Memorial – will be held on Saturday Sept 14th. Due to our respect for the passing of Bill Worthen, Sr. we will expand the memorial to include Bill Sr. This event will be a “pot luck” lunch where the club members bring food to share and the club provides hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and drinks. Bobby Bellino requested that the club not buy hamburgers from Walmart. Ed assured him that he doesn't shop there. Steve Stafford asked about the propane supply for the grill. Steve then volunteered to bring a spare tank of propane as a backup. Cloyce asked if the club planned to give away an airplane or other prize. Bobby made a motion that we have a drawing with an award of $75 to the winner. The motion passed. It was agreed that all members names be put in the hat for the drawing. The winner need not be present to win the prize.

EAA Fly-in – will be held at the Fremont County Airport on Saturday, September 28th. There were several questions that arose concerning what our club will do at this event. Ed will look into in to this with Hans Messler of the EAA. See our web site to view the EAA poster.

New Business:

Indoor Gymnasium Flying – Cloyce will look into resuming the club’s access to flying in the Harrison School gym.

Definition of Family Membership – In a discussion of who is eligible for family membership there was the consensus that we need to revisit this and maybe revise our bylaws.

The meeting adjourned at 8:05 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Marlowe D. Cassetti, Secretary/Treasurer
